Pastors Return to South Sudan Villages

Sudanese pastors prepare for their flight home to South Sudan after completing pastoral training.

This was an important week for providing support to African Pastors.  Rural Pastors throughout Africa have limited Theological Training Opportunities; many have no formal training.  Can you imagine trying to pastor a church, or perhaps multiple churches, with no formal training?  Africa Inland Mission works to support these pastors and equip them with theological training. This week AIM AIR will be carrying students from a Bible College in Yei, South Sudan to their home villages scattered throughout South Sudan.  These flights are the very visible story of the Word of God going to some of the most remote places on earth.  Students who have been diligently studying the Word of God are now able to take what they have learned in the classroom back to their people and share in a deeper and more effective manner. As these students go home, they are eager to go home, eager to see family again, but also eager to share what they have learned in the past six months.  What a thrill it is for AIM AIR to be a small part of transporting these students and the Word of God.
